About Us
Team Alice began in early 2008 when a small group of women who met on TwilightMOMS.com decided to go to a movie together. Eventually, word got around and more people were involved. We named our group in honor of a master party planner, Alice Cullen, from the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. We organized, formed committees and the little “get together” grew into a big hoopla. When all was said and done, Team Alice had grown to more than 30 people and a Grand Event was put into action for more than 900 people who wanted to share the Twilight movie premiere with us.
We found out that no where else in the nation, any event surrounding Twilight like this one, did not come close to the success. This event far exceeded any expectations, including volume in quantity of attendees, vendor participation, sponsorship relations, prize and “swag bag” offerings, and especially the style.
This year, the members and the voice of the attendees wanted to go bigger, better, and with more style. Team Alice is planning for more than 5,000 attendees to experience the premiere of New Moon and all the festivities in a way never done before anywhere in the nation!
Team Alice has blossomed also, with more than 100 members strong and growing. With so many new faces as well as the many familiar members from the original committees. We made it an official business and created this website to help inform, connect, and Present Events with Style (TM). Welcome to EventsByAlice.com.
Members of Team Alice are gaining skills and developing talents that can be used beyond these Events. Whether it be in their personal lives or resume building; Events By Alice is excited to play a part in helping individuals expand themselves.
